Introduction to Facebook pages for your business

On the top right corner of your Facebook page, click on the drop down Menu and Select

- Create a Page-

Here you will find six different pages to choose from:

-Local Business or Place

-Company, Organization or Institution

-Brand or Product

-Artist, Band or Public Figure

-Entertainment

-Cause or Community

Choose the page that is most suitable to your business. This can be changed if needed but it is easier for your audience to find you when you are under the right category.

After you have Selected your business Page and Category you should add a Profile Picture and a Cover Page. The Profile Picture is usually reserved for your business Logo seeing as this is the 'face' of your business and how people recognise your business. The size requirements for upload is 180px X 180px. The Cover Page is dedicated to tell your audience more about your business, visually. The size requirements for upload is 828px X 315px. For more details you can visit the Facebook Sizes & Dimensions Page, @PagesSizesDimensions on Facebook.
